ロックTの代表格として君臨するローリング・ストーンズのツアーTといえば1989年当時のツアーTが最もデザイン数がありますが、1970年代後半から1980年代前半頃も秀逸なデザインを見ることができます。
1978年のアメリカツアーTも幾つかデザインパターンのある年で、当時のメインアイコンであったドラゴンのデザインと同等にベロロゴのデザインもメインデザインへ昇華していく頃でもあり、このTシャツについてはバックプリントに現在のベロロゴとは印象か異なるリアルなベロロゴのデザインで、顎もしっかりと割れている様は劇画タッチでもあり、いかにも当時のデザインだよな、と感じることができる仕様。
フロントのみのデザインのバージョンもあり、パキ綿のブートレグなので、この年だけでも様々なストーンズの表情を楽しめます。
このようにつらつらと駄文を書くまでもなく、じっくり眺めているだけで満たされる珠玉の一枚。
