エアロスミスも自分の人生に深く介入してきたバンドの一つで、どれだけ思い入れのあるバンドがあるのかという話ですが、まあまあそれでも人並み程度ではないかなあという感じです。
美大に行っていた友人に話を聞くと、例えば映像作家を目指している人は映画を観ている物量そのものが違うということで、その物量を聞いた時に全く敵わないな、と感じるくらいの量であったことを鮮明に記憶しています。
という具合に、その道の専門というか、もう絶対にこの領域で勝負する、と決めている人の領域の攻め方はえげつないものがあるので、そのことでいうと自分は古着でかつTシャツという領域がそれに当てはまるんじゃないかと思います。
唯一、ヴィンテージTに関しては、人よりも量を見ていると自負しているので、その自負に比べたら自分が聴いている音楽の量は全然大したことないと感じますし、身近に音楽関係の仕事をしている友人なんかもいますから、余計にそう思いますね。
現代は小手先の技量である程度のことができてしまうかもしれませんが、深みのあるアウトプットをしようと思った時に、小手先の技術ではすぐに見透かされますし、そこでモノを言うのが自身の経験であり、体験であるということです。
五感を駆使して得てきた自分の中に積み上げたものを吐き出すことが、ようやくその道のスタートラインであり、ボーダーラインに立てるくらいのイメージでしょう。
そこからさらに先へ行くためには、弛まぬ努力と強い好奇心が必須であると考えます。

I’m proud to say that I’ve seen more vintage t-shirts than anyone else, so compared to that, I feel that the amount of music I listen to is nothing.
In today’s world, you may be able to do a certain amount of things with a small amount of skill, but when you want to create a profound output, it’s easy to be overlooked with a small amount of skill, and that’s where your own experience and experience come into play.
I think that the starting line of the path is to let out what you have accumulated inside yourself by using all your senses, so that you can finally reach the borderline.
