ギターを武器に見立ててマシンガンを乱射したり、弓を引きながらギターを脇に抱えて何かと戦ってるデザイン見て、ギター邪魔だろとツッこみたくなったり、自分大好き、自己肯定感の塊なんだろうなと容易に想像できるテッド・ニュージェント先生のこの度の出立ちは原始人。
もはや趣旨も意味も不明ですが、こういうのを見てると、自分が提供するものに絶対的な自信があるように錯覚させられ、そんな言うならちょっとお試しで、、なんて押しに負けてしまいそうな気がします。
この独特な打ち出しは、某学習塾のコスプレ広告に似通っていると感じていて、あの広告も何故あれでGoサインが出たのかよくわからないのですが、個人的には大好きで、そう思う人がいるってことを予め見透かしていたような余裕と潔さを感じると共に、その絶対的な揺るぎのない強さに畏怖の念を感じずにいられません。
この根拠も無く、ワケの分からない立ち振る舞いは、大いに勇気を与えてくれるものです。
It’s easy to imagine that Ted Nugent is a man who loves himself and is full of self-assurance.
I’m not sure what the purpose or meaning of this is anymore, but when I see this kind of thing, it gives me the illusion that I’m absolutely confident in what I’m offering, and I feel like I might be pushed to try it out.
I don’t know why they got the go-ahead for that ad, but I personally love it, and I feel that they had the latitude and grace to see through the fact that there would be people who would think that way. I can’t help but feel a sense of awe at its absolute strength.
This unfounded and incomprehensible behavior gives me great courage.
