ストーンズのアイコンは1975年はイーグル、1978年〜1982年はドラゴン、以降ベロロゴと、象徴となるアイコンが変化していきました。
ドラゴンのアイコン期には既にドラゴンの口元がベロロゴの原型となっていて、それが独り立ちしたようにも見えます。
何故、そのアイコンなのか？と問われれば、有識者は1975年はイーグルだからだ、1978年はドラゴンだからだと言い切りました。
それはまるで、細かい戯言は不要、その年のアイコンはそれで当たり前なんだから、それだけ見とけと言わんばかりのオーラがあり、そのオーラに若かりし頃の自分は圧倒されるばかりでした。
その方は未だに原宿ヴィンテージ界隈のドンとして君臨されています。
かくいう自分は細かい方、細かい方へ向かっており、その有識者と真逆の方向にも進んでいるようにも思えますが、有識者の方からかけてもらった言葉、会話の中身ひとつひとつが重厚なものであり、当時の自分に学びと刺激を与え続けて頂いたことは間違いありません。
様々な在り方がありますが、今の自分はこれまでの自分と関わった人々で形成されているものですので、自分の在り方を残し続ける作業を命の許す限り進めるだけです。

I was overwhelmed by his aura when I was young. He still reigns as the don of the Harajuku vintage scene.
However, every word he said to me and every conversation he had with me was profound, and I am sure that he continued to inspire and teach me.
There are many ways to be, but the person I am today is made up of the people who have been involved with me in the past, so all I can do is continue to preserve my way of being as long as my life allows.
