自らがデザインのアイコンとなることを生業としているテッド様のこのTシャツは、デザインはお家芸と言ってもよい、当然のようにご自身がモチーフとなっているものなので、ここに関してはもはやツッ込むという選択肢は無く、ただただどスルーです。(問題なくカッコいいという意味です。)
このTシャツに関して着目したいのはボディの切り返しのカラーリング。
単なるリンガーではなく、2トーンと呼ぶべき袖のカラーの切り返しに、思わず生唾を飲んでしまうほどの興奮を覚えます。
しかもましてやパキ綿のブートレグなので、元々はチープという前提があるのにも関わらずオリジナルを超えてしまってる希少価値が見出せてしまうことが、物事の在り方の不思議さを感じてしまうところです。
オリジナルですら2トーンボディは滅多に見ませんから、パキ綿の2トーンもそれ以上に見かけないこともあって希少価値が高まります。
まだ紹介していないTシャツで、The Whoのえげつない切り返しのボディのTシャツをこの先入手することとなるのですが、その熱いパッションは来たる時に向けて温めておくこととします。
Ted makes a living out of being an icon of design, and the design of this t-shirt is based on his own motifs, so there’s no choice but to just go with it. (I mean, it’s cool, no problem.).
What I would like to focus on about this T-shirt is the coloring of the cut-outs on the body.
It’s not just a ringer, it’s a two-tone sleeve, and it’s so exciting that it makes me salivate.
And since it’s a bootleg made of paki cotton, it has a scarcity value that surpasses the original despite the fact that it was originally supposed to be cheap.
Even the original two-tone body is rarely seen, so the rarity of the two-tone paki cotton body is even greater.
I’m sure I’ll be getting more of these Who t-shirts in the future, but I’ll keep my passion for them warm for the time to come.
