エアロスミスは楽曲も好きですが、未だ現役であることから、古き良き時代から多くのTシャツデザインがリリースされているため、楽しみが尽きないアーティストの一つです。
オフィシャルからパキ綿まで幅広く、個人でも所有していたり、ショップとしても多くのデザインを仕入れ、また、書籍やインターネットで数え切れない程のデザインを見てきました。
自身が幼少期の頃から馴染みがあり、映画の主題歌だったり、バンドのコピーであったり、人生を共にしてきたバンドであるとも言えるので、その思い入れは並々ならないものがありますね。
そのようなバンドのデザインをヴィンテージの世界を通して関わることができるのは光栄に思いますし、販売員時代も何度も幸福を噛み締めて打ち震えていたか覚えていないくらいです。
そういう体験もあってか、いついかなる時もその時味わった興奮と幸福感を再現したいと考えていて、そのことが自分を突き動かしていると言っても過言ではなく、故に身体が年齢を重ねても心が年齢を重ねることはありません。
ここで言う心というのは、自分の中では精神とは分離していますので、人間としての成長という意味では精神は年齢を重ねているけど、人生で最高だなとか、幸せだなと感じた心の部分は誰にも侵されない絶対領域とすることで、自分自身のバランスをポジティブに取りながら年齢を重ねることが自分に取って最もバランスの良い生き方だな、と考えています。
Aerosmith is one of those artists that I love the songs, but since they are still active, there are many t-shirt designs that have been released since the good old days that I never cease to enjoy.
I have seen a wide range of designs from official to paki cotton, I own many of them personally, I stock many designs as a store, and I have seen countless designs in books and on the internet.
I have been familiar with these bands since I was a child, and they have been the theme songs of my movies, my copies of my bands, and the bands that I have shared my life with, so I can say that I have an extraordinary attachment to them.
I feel honored to be able to be involved in the design of such a band through the world of vintage, and I can’t even remember how many times I was shaking with happiness when I was a salesperson.
