ヴァン・ヘイレンの中心人物であり、タッピングを広めたことで世に知られるレジェンド・ギタリストであるエドワード・ヴァン・ヘイレンがこの世を去ってからまだまだ日が浅いなと感じていますが（2021/2/10時点）、ヴァン・ヘイレンは音楽もTシャツも自身の人生の一部を形成している要素と言っても過言ではありません。
音楽は幼少期より常に身近に存在しており、ことTシャツに関してはデヴィッド・リー・ロスや、サミー・ヘイガーといったヴォーカリスト単体のヴィンテージTをはじめ、もちろんヴァン・ヘイレンのデザインもオフィシャル、ブートレグ含め無数のデザインを見てきました。
故にヴィンテージT歴の中でも常に側に寄り添っていたバンドとも言えるので、親近感を感じずにいられませんし、勝手に運命的なものを感じて、自然と仕入れたいという気持ちも高まっていたかもしれません。そのため、入荷後の紹介にも力が入っていたことでしょう。
1979年のツアーTはロゴが地球から飛び出すような、正に当時を表現するに相応しいデザインと思います。このデザインはブラックやイエローボディで見たことがあるのですが、ラグランで見たことがあるのはこの一枚のみです。
当然ラグランもカラーバリエがあるので、他のカラーがあっても不思議ではありません。
フロントのみのデザインですが、一点集中の主張性があるので、「余計なコーディネートは考えなくていい、一枚で着ればいい。」そんな風に言われているように思えるのです。

I’ve seen this design in black and yellow bodies, but this is the only raglan I’ve ever seen.
Of course, raglan also comes in a variety of colors, so I wouldn’t be surprised if there are other colors available.It’s a front-only design, but it has a one-pointed assertiveness that says, “Don’t think about coordinating anything else, just wear it by itself.
That’s what it seems to be saying to me.
