1975年に発表されたAliveというライブアルバムは以降のキッスのツアータイトルになるほど定着していきました。
Tシャツも同タイトルのツアーTがオフィシャル、ブート含め様々なデザインが存在していて、このTシャツはパキスタンコットンのブートレグで恐らく1977年〜1978年頃のAliveツアー当時のものと考えられます。
両面共にキッスの豪華なデザイン、オフィシャルには無い派手な色使いと雰囲気。
パキスタンコットン(パキ綿)のキッスのTシャツも1980年代前後で見かけますが、キッスのビンテージTの場合はどちらかというとオフィシャルが多く、個人的にパキ綿のデザインで見たことあるのは数種類。
金のラメを施した贅沢な仕様で、見たことも仕入れたこともあるのはこの一枚だけです。
希少価値があると謳うのはあくまでも個人的基準ではありますが、実物でも書籍でもネットでも調べる手段は様々あるので、フェイク品を掴まずに希少性を探り、自分なりの希少価値を見出すことが重要と考えます。
アンテナを張ってると稀に欲しいものが一気に出現することがあって、それでも争奪戦ではあるので、どれだけのTシャツが自分の手からこぼれ落ちた、というか掴めなかったかわかりません。
オンラインショップで通算数千枚のTシャツを取り扱ってきましたが、取りこぼしが無ければ恐らく2倍、3倍の規模にはなっていたことでしょう。
すべては巡り合わせであり、そこが儚い魅力でもあるのですが、この終わらない旅路を時には後ろを振り返りながら、帆を進めていくのみですね。
キッスのTシャツは70年代のツアーTでもド派手で、でもどことなく年代相応のレトロ感もあって、鮮やかな色合いだけど、少しセピアがかるような哀愁を漂わせているところがたまりません。
70年代と80年代のパキ綿のTシャツひとつとっても、微妙に表情が異なり、それぞれの年代を投影していることを感じられるところが、何とも言い難い味わい深さがあります。

The Kiss t-shirts, even the 70’s tour t-shirts, are flashy, but they also have a retro feel that is somehow appropriate for the era, with bright colors, but with a bit of sepia-toned melancholy.
Even a single paki cotton t-shirt from the 70s and 80s has a slightly different look, and the fact that it reflects the different eras gives it a depth of flavor that is hard to describe.
